I am watching Alaska: The Last Frontier. The people were talking about how a lot of people up there leave their hunting cabins with the door unlocked incase somebody gets lost or stranded in the winter when shelter is essential to survive. A man was shown chopping wood for kindling and leaving it by the fireplace so any person who comes inside can get a fire started quickly. It is great to see people being so caring. It makes me wish that more communities would build emergency shelters. Can you imagine neighbors pitching in to insulate sheds for homeless or stranded people to use and leaving behind blankets and such? What a wonderful thought. ❤
